I just found this link....it might help folks with fuel being so insanely high, just thot Id post it, in case it might help someone. its a way to use vegetable oil instead of regular deisel, like an additive...Ive read the website and it makes me wish I had a deisel vehicle instead of gas.

Huh? Im not sure what you mean? I need money to do this.....as I stated in my post. This is one of those situations where "it takes money to make money" and I havent any, which was kind of the whole point to my post.

Welll, now things went from bad to worse and whatever is 10 steps past worse is where Im at now. Cell phone (the only phone I can hear on) was disconnected last week...house phone (How I get internet) is due to be disconnected today sometime. Got bad news on school....turns out they declined my aid package, so I can still go to school, but I have to pay....so, school is no longer an option for me. Ive contacted the voc rehab folks, but with no phone and soon no internet and them being the only office and being soooo far away....they will just have to mail me a note telling me what more they cant do for me...same as everyone else. Im tired and I hurt and Im tired of hurting. Its a really really bad time. Im feeling really hopeless and depressed and alone.

I can not even count how many hours, days weeks, months, years Ive spent online in search of the so called free grants that are supposed to be there "for everyone".  If you found them....where did you find them? I have no money to go pay for those grant search/writting programs...even if I thot they were legit, but HOW does a person who seriously needs help, find the help that could literally save their lives?

Things have gone from bad to worse. The guy I was working for ripped me off and now Ive got no job, no money and no one can find this jerk. He moved, his phones been d/c'd ...he just dissappeared...

I was actually making money, thats the real kicker. Enough that it would have been ok ...I would have been able to pay the bills..slowly.....a little at a time, but things would have been alright. I just dont understand.  I dont want to have a big pity party but holy crap...when will we catch a break? Two deaths (close friends) in the last 2 weeks, no job, no money and for the past week Ive had the flu.....if someone would play a twangy country tune, my damn life could inspire the lyrics to a mega hit, no doubt.

I watched the most OUTSTANDING movie today tho...since Ive been sick and weak and cant do much else right now anyway....its called "The Ultimate Gift". The is the most outstanding movie I have ever seen, like, EVER.  I suggest everyone go out, right now and get it, asap. I promise it will put all our lives and our troubles into perspective.

Update 4-13-08

I start work on my own as of tomorrow. Working alone instead of with that guy should help in the amount of money I bring in, since it wont have to be split with him. I also wont be subject to his changing the split on hiw whims, which he has done before. Shorted me $55 one day. We had words over that, I was surprised to see him show up the following day. Mom and I had a bet after I explained to her the events of the day, she didnt think hed be back. I said hes too dense not to. Course...going out on my own, means I also have 100% of the expenses on my shoulders..UGH  I will have to pay to use the company van and pay the company for each box sold.....but, if I dont sell anything, then its just van useage, tho I already told him if I dont sell anything, he aint getting anything.....Im paying expenses and gas and stuff....gas is going to be the biggest issue I can see. 

Bad news on the house..got a nasty letter from the bank, they are getting real serious with the threatening repo....if anyone can help me out until I get things going on this job....I cant even tell you how much it would be appreciated.

UPDATE 4-9-08

Well, things are still the same...Ive found a job...sort of, part time in door to door sales. UGH  Its loads of hard work, terrorizes the arthritis in my joints and the guy Im partnered with right now talks non stop all day. Ive told him Im deaf and he jabbers on continually. It dosent seem to bother him that I never answer, so Ive stopped interupting with my "what?" and my "I cant hear you" and just let him go on. Dosent help that my hearing aid batteries died and I cant afford new ones right now...so I am REALLLY deaf under these circumstances.  I respond when I do hear whats hes just said...which is rare, but the van is loud and he mumbles......its a lose/lose situation. But it has put some food on the table last week and I even managed a tiny little payment on the phone bill...kept it from being turned off, again. Im going to try to talk to him today and see what other arrangments can be made. Hes mentioned needing a manager to run the buisness for him, keeping his bills paid and making pick ups, etc...thats something I could do, no problem....have to see if he was serious, or just talking to hear his voice...

UPDATE: well great news on the classes, the instructor emailed me back this am and said she will let me come in for private instruction, no cost, as much as I need to get refreshed and "caught up" so that I dont have to start over...to backstory a minute....a few years ago I took asl courses for a year, so I have 12 units already and do not want to start over , but need a refresher to get back where I left off.....its a complex and complicated language and if you dont use it, you lose it, so to speak....

So thats good news....course I still need a way to keep utilities on and the house from being reposessed.  I was going to go by the college today and pick up the one piece of paper they wont let you fill out online and get it turned in...but my van is totally out of gas.

Im trying to stay positive, I know life is hard and "no one said life was going to be easy", but holy heck, when does it get just a little less of an all out battle just to keep myself from drowning???

I can not offer financial assistance myself, but perhaps there is a government program that could help you? (good luck there, I havent been able to find any...) If you have a good history with your landlord maybe you two could work together to add on a little extra each month for payment on what you are behind on, until you get caught up?

UPDATE: I was thinking last nite I needed to be proactive in my own life. I feel like things are just "dead in the water", so to speak. I contacted Voc Rehab, who got me my hearing aids, cuz they said they would help me learn ASL (American Sign Language) too and were supposed to let me know something "soon"...well its been months and months, so I contacted them via email (its Sunday) but have gone one step further and contacted my local community college and enrolled in the ASL training program and I have found I qualify for financial aid and can get my courses free just based on my lack of income, so thats good news. Not so good news is its mid-session now, the courses I need are not offered over summer and that means I have to wait until fall term to get this moving....soooo again, not one to be discouraged, I have emailed the director of the program and asked her if there is anyway I can come "sit in" on any classes or some way to get private instruction so that I can do this sooner...like yesterday. So I am encouraged about this one thing in my life....      I was also thinking that if I go back to school, I still have all these crazy insane amount of credit card bills, medical bills, loans, etc who are knocking down my door....and in fact trying to kick me out of my door, since the house payment is 3 months behind so I checked with welfare....UGH I dunno where all those rumors and myths about folks sitting around "getting rich" off welfare came from....it may happen somewhere, but it aint happening in Mississippi thats for dang sure. On the TANF program, a needy person gets $110 for the first person and then $36 for the 2nd person and $24 for each additional person after that. So for myself and my daughter, we'd get a whopping $146 a month to live on....Im  very very discouraged on this point, because I was hoping that I could go back to school and finish my degree (ASL interpreting) and that would allow me to get a good job. BUT while Im in school full time, I was thinking maybe TANF would be enough to just "get by" and keep the bill collectors at bay until I was able to pay them myself....so much for that plan. Now Im at a loss for my next step.  I have a partial plan for school, but it does not help me keep myself out of jail for defaulting on these loans and it does not keep my utilities on or the house from being reposessed....

Any ideas, help, suggestions, loans, donations, thoughts & prayers, anything is appreciated
